The Sr. Analyst (SA), Brand Partnerships and Activations is a crucial role within the US Away From Home (AFH) Business Unit. The SA is responsible for developing the marketing strategy and leading cross-functional business partners to meet our goals of building brand relevance, health, and conversion while delivering profitable growth for the channel. This role is crucial in developing clear strategic priorities, implementing structured go-to-market plans, and fostering internal and external relationships to drive our AFH objectives forward.

This role provides a unique opportunity to manage our Deli Business, serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Small Batch Manufacturing, 3rd Party Deliveries marketing partnerships, Equipment strategies and providing high-impact experiences to our consumers. This role also provides a unique opportunity to develop nuanced marketing skills and business acumen across several sub-channels and segments such as Deli as well as traditional commercial restaurants.

This role provides direct interaction with cross-functional activities including Consumer Insights, Sales, Brand Marketing, Operations, Research & Development, and Finance, resulting in strengthened marketing fundamentals and a broad view to driving business growth. This role also interacts with customer and industry partners, developing direct relationships to effectively drive the marketing agenda and support the overall customer strategy.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Marketing lead for Away From Home for the Deli Channel. Responsible for marketing strategy development and execution to drive channel and customer growth in accordance with brand and Away From Home strategic priorities

  • Equipment strategy co-development, Small Batch Manufacturing Support.

  • Supports joint business planning driving marketing strategy with priority customers.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with customer and industry counterparts

  • Drives collaboration, development, and execution of initiatives internally across functions

  • Monitors and analyzes sales volumes, market share trends, and competitive activity

  • Performs in-depth analysis of research and insights data, reporting on and integrating findings into multi-channel marketing programs to optimize their performance

  • Initiates and maintains R&D projects through the commercialization processes.

  • Owns reporting on channel initiatives through regular rituals and routines and ad-hoc reports as needed.

  • Weekly reporting on initiatives and business drivers and weekly, monthly, quarterly strategic direction/items to execute against

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders including but not limited to: Sales, Brand Marketing, Finance, Project Management, R&D, Operations, Culinary, and Insights

  • P&L management, indirect ownership supporting Finance and Sales and understands key levers to increase profit.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred

  • Prior experience in multi-channel marketing, product management, brand management, sales functions. B2B and Away From Home marketing experience a plus.

  • Experience in strategic and tactical marketing plan development, managing the P&L and budget to deliver on critical initiatives

  • Ability to synthesize consumer, operator, and channel trends translating data into actions

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to interpret quantitative data and perform detailed trend analysis applying large, raw volume data

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external cross functional teams

  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver within agreed upon time frames

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to persuade and build coalitions and credibility across organizations

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and internally motivated to drive improvement every day

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is a hybrid work position which requires the employee to work in office 3 days per week. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

Physical demands include but not limited to

  • Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed

  • Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule
