Summary: Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, functions as a professional by utilizing the nursing process in caring for patients from admission to discharge. Is responsible for incorporating general, age-specific and unit specific competencies into the care provided and is responsible for adherence to Marlborough Hospital standards and standards in accordance with the licensure of Registered Nurses by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and American Nursing Association. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Qualifications: Current Mass RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS within 90days and PALS within 180 days. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or ENPC preferred. A minimum of one-year experience in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing including successful completion of a basic cardiology course preferred or one-year Med/Surgical telemetry experience or three years' current paramedic experience.
