A Brief Overview
Supervises the daily and weekly activities that occur within your assigned area of the operation; provides leadership, motivation, training, and development of workforce; executes against company requirements; participates in continuous improvement activities as part of the site management team and ensures company policies are followed and that the site develops a positive work culture.

Key KPI Responsibilities - Lead your team to Meet/Exceed established KPI expectations.


What you will do
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
Ensures inventory is accurate and maintained at appropriate levels and policies and procedures are enforced to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations.
Prepares and distributes work schedules in accordance with business needs and customer requirements
Manages and maintains warehouse fleet and the warehouse material handling equipment

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
Assists with recruiting, hiring, and establishing performance expectations and may handle basic personnel matters and administer verbal warnings
Trains associates on a variety of position-related processes, procedures, and tasks
Assists in creating a positive and engaging work environmnet where people are motivated to perform their best and held accountable for their actions.

SAFETY
Ensures national, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT and MHE) are being followed in the warehouse.
Identify instances of risky behaviors within the warehouse and take appropriate actions, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
Keep the warehouse up to date on safe working methods.

Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications
High School Diploma Required

Experience Qualifications
1-3 years Leading in distribution or warehouse environment Required

Skills and Abilities
Forklift certification preferred or willing to be certified

Experience with warehouse management (WMS) preferred

Ability to travel up to 5%

Physical requirements are inclusive, but not limited to the following:
Ability to work from the Warehouse location
A valid driver's license with a driving record that falls within the Company requirements and the ability to operate a company vehicle if required by your location
Ability to satisfy all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements as outlined in the Field Supplemental Handbook (i.e. ability to wear safety glasses while in the warehouse)
Ability to occasionally lift windshields, up to 35 pounds
To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
