Westinghouse is seeking 2024 Summer Interns for non-technical positions. Some non-technical disciplines include: Project Management, Project Controls, Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, etc.

Location: Columbia

Westinghouse has a long history of operations in South Carolina - dating back to the 1969 opening of the Westinghouse Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) in Hopkins, just outside of Columbia. Today, CFFF is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the world.

The site houses fuelmanufacturing facilities, product engineering and testing laboratories, as well as fuelmarketing and contract administration. It covers 1,155 acres that include 550,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.

Nuclear power plants produce about 20 percent of electricitygenerated in the U.S. About 10 percentof U.S. electricity comes from nuclear fuel manufactured by Westinghouseat CFFF.

From our beginning, when the first fuel components were produced and shipped from CFFF, we have created a legacy of quality performance and products. Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

* Pursuing aBachelor's degree in a non-engineering field(Project Management, Project Controls,Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, etc.).
* Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
* Completion of Sophomore year of college
* Must be able to work a minimum of 8 weeks; 10 plus weeks preferred.
* US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
